Patents are important in order to benefit from your rights to an invention.  At the Bauer Law Offices, we are highly experienced in patent law and have examined or obtained hundreds of patents for our clients. Each one of these patents have provided legal protection for an important invention.  

For example, the Bauer Law Offices obtained U.S. Patent No. 6,226,449 in 2003 based on technology developed in 2000.  Due to our skill in drafting the claims of that patent, it covered products sold by Apple in 2014.  It remains the only non-standards related patent successfully enforced against Apple anywhere in the world during the now infamous "smartphone wars" in which both Apple and Samsung spent billions of dollars asserting, attacking and defending patent.
